Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
